About This Guide
RackWare RMM can migrate supported Windows and Linux VMware virtual machines to native OCI Compute instances. It performs operating-system and filesystem-level replication, adapts the guest to OCI virtual hardware, enables repeated delta synchronisation, and supports controlled test and production cutovers.
This assessment describes the general migration capability. Exact operating-system, kernel, application, cluster and target-environment support should be validated against the current RackWare support matrix during discovery and pilot planning.
